Sophia Tice is an independent artist, songwriter and producer with original music available on all streaming platforms. Born in London, raised in Toronto, she now lives in New York City where she attends The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. She is also the founder and CEO of her own independent record label, SW19 Records.

 

Sophia has performed on notable Canadian stages including the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, The Rex Hotel Jazz and Blues Bar, The Sound of Music Festival, and The Drake Underground, as well as  New York venues such as Nublu Classic, Nublu 151 and Arlene's Grocery. She has also performed for Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh at his Infinite Awards Gala and shared the stage with acclaimed musicians such as Premiere Canadian tenor John McDermott, The Mark Lalama Trio, Grammy-nominated Drew Jurecka, and Juno-nominated performers DALA and Suzie Vinnick. She also works with multiple charities as an artist ambassador to support causes such as the Lighthouse for Grieving Children, the Dare to Be Youth Foundation, and the Special Olympics.
